in the communities we serve.

Store community initiatives are generally focused on family-strengthening projects for funding. Store programs have helped supply needy children with school supplies, collect food for emergency food pantry shelves, and fill Salvation Army kettles at Christmas. The stores' ongoing signature community involvement program, We Care, also helps feed the hungry through a monetary donation to the local non-profit organization of the customer's choice.

The Roundy's Foundation has been instrumental in supplying hundreds of tons of food to many community pantries in Wisconsin and Minnesota and has supported organizations that: shelter women and children in times of crisis, serve low income and at-risk youth, bring hope and healing to young children who have been affected by trauma, train family empowerment, provide literacy and character education, and train students with disabilities for economic self-sufficiency. Since its inception in 2003, the Roundy's Foundation has donated more than $2.5 million to organizations dedicated to service in the areas of hunger relief, families in crisis and literacy.
